I've never done good things.
I've never done bad things.

Drawing by Michael Heseltine

Inspired by the David Bowie lyrics:
"I've never done good things. I've never done bad things."

The drawing explores the idea that we can witness our thoughts. The voice in our head can be observed and thus there is another consciousness beyond our thoughts. The 3 figures are one, with thoughts about being good or bad and the way we perceive ourselves. The viewer of the drawing is both the person in the drawing and the witness. The viewer is the spirit beyond thought.
